ABOUT ME

My name is Rožle Reven and I was born in 1995 in Slovenia. I have a Master's degree in Translation and I love discovering new countries by bicycle. My first experience of a longer bicycle trip dates back to September 2017, when I and a group of friends rode from home to Bratislava to watch a football match between Slovenia and Slovakia. The idea was mine and after a lot of persuasion, three of my friends gave in and agreed to join. Although we had suffered a lot and everyone else had sworn never to do anything like that again, the desire for something greater gradually began to awaken in me. Admittedly, it took a long time before I realized that I had enjoyed those four days more than I thought.

I left home again in 2018 to cycle along the Silk Road. I haven't planned an exact destination. Thirteen countries later I've finished in Kazakhstan after 10.000 km. I travel by bicycle because it brings you in touch with people and culture of the country you are visiting. On my website are colorful stories about various experiences from long journeys in different parts of the world.
